Operation of Citadele internet banking system during December 31 and January 1

Published on

Due to Estonia's accession to Eurozone and introduction of euro which will replace the Estonian kroon, an upgrade of bank’s systems will be carried out on December 31 and January 1. Therefore Citadele internet banking system will not be available on January 1 from 10:30 to 15:00 o’clock and temporary interruptions are possible at other times as well.

Therefore we invite you to perform all necessary payments and transactions in due time until January 1. As of January 2 all bank’s systems, including the internet bank and ATM network will operate as usual and clients will be able to use them at their convenience. There will be no interruptions in operation of payment cards during the system upgrade process and clients will be able to use their cards for their purchases in Latvia and abroad as well on the internet.

Also, payments in Estonian kroons will be accepted in bank's client service centres and internet banking system until December 30, 15:00 o'clock. After that clients will not be able to choose Estonian kroon as the currency of their payments. Instead, clients will be able to make their payments in euros or any other available currency.

If you have any questions please contact our Client service centre by the 24/7 hotline 6 701 0000.
We are sorry for your inconveniences.
