Changes in Transfers to GE Money Bank

AS GE Money Bank has announced that as part of its strategy, which speaks to the thoughtful and responsible departure from the Latvian market, it will stop providing services to clients on September 20, 2013.

This means that transfers to clients of GE Money Bank will be possible only until 8:00 PM on September 20. After that, all payments sent to GE Money Bank client accounts will be rejected. The exception is payments which are sent specifically to AS GE Money Bank itself.

In order to continue to make payments to individuals or companies with accounts at GE Money Bank, please contact the recipient in a timely way and find out his or her new bank account number at Citadele or any other bank.

As noted, GE Money Bank will continue to provide banking services in Latvia until September 20 of this year. Beginning on September 23, the Citadele Bank will take over all payment accounts, deposits, savings accounts and loans related to GE Money Bank’s private and corporate clients.

If you are a GE Money Bank client and wish to access your money on September 21 and 22, please open a payment account and receive a payment card from Citadele Bank, then transferring cash from your GE Money Bank account to your Citadele account.
