Zigurds Vaikulis

Member of the Board

Zigurds Vaikulis is a Member of the Management board of CBL Asset Management and Head of the Portfolio Management Department.

Zigurds has been working in the financial sector since 2000. He began his career as a financial market analyst at Parex Bank and joined the newly established pension and portfolio management company Parex Asset Management in 2002, soon becoming Head of the Market Analysis Department. For several years, he served as the Citadele bank chief economist. Zigurds has been a member of the CBL Asset Management board since 2007 and head of the Portfolio Management Department since 2011.

Zigurds is responsible for overseeing the client portfolio and fund management teams, as well as for developing the company’s overall investment strategy, which guides the management of pension plans, investment funds, and client portfolios. Since 2011, Zigurds has also served as the pension plan manager.

Zigurds Vaikulis holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the University of Latvia.
