Karina Saroukhanian and Sylvia Gansser-Potts to re-join Supervisory Board of AS Citadele banka

On October 29,  2018 AS Citadele banka received confirmation from the Financial and Capital  Market Commission that it approves the current Supervisory Board’s composition and continued operations of its members and that it supports the candidacy of Karina Saroukhanian and Sylvia Gansser-Potts to re-join the Bank’s Supervisory Board as part of a wider board reorganization.

Karina Saroukhanian is a Managing Director of Ripplewood Advisors LLC. Before joining the company, since 2008, K. Saroukhanian worked as senior banker in the Financial Institutions team of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD). At the EBRD, she specialized in complex equity transactions, working with financial sponsors in multiple jurisdictions.  Prior to joining the EBRD, K. Saroukhanian was Associate Director in the M&A Group at Nomura International in London and Vice President at Sindicatum, a financial advisory and asset management firm.

Karina Saroukhanian holds a degree in mathematical economics from the Moscow State University and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Sylvia Gansser-Potts is a Member of the Investment Committee of the European Fund for Southeast Europe (the EFSE). Before joining the EFSE, since 2015, Sylvia Gansser-Potts was a Managing Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. During 25 years at the EBRD, she successfully managed various financial divisions, supervising the operations of banks in Europe, North Africa and Middle East.  Sylvia Gansser-Potts started her career at the investment company Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC). 

Mrs Gansser-Potts holds a degree in Business and Economics from Dauphine Paris IX Université and an MBA from INSEAD.
