Citadele banka Estonian branch participated in European Day 2012 in cooperation with the Latvian Embassy in Estonia.

On Saturday, 12 May the birthday of European Union was celebrated at Tallinn Vabaduse Square.

Entertainment for entire family and expositions of embassies of the European countries welcomed, in spite of the windy weather, several thousands of visitors of all generations.

Health Walk through the old town and orientation game ”With One Day Through Europe” was complemented with a play ground for the children, European Cafeteria, Tent for Volunteers and Tent of Health.

This Year’s celebrations were devoted to the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity Between Generations.

The busy day was ended with a beautiful concert.

The Latvian Embassy was presented by Latvian Tourism Authority and Citadele banka Estonian Branch. In addition to the fliers about tourism opportunities in Latvia, booklets about the bank and balloons for the children with the banks logo were distributed.

Embassy’s box was visited by both many citizens and foreign visitors, as well as Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs (Mr Edgars Rinkēvičs) and Minister of Defense (Dr. Artis Pabriks).
